MISUNG POLYMER, exhibit the chopped fibers as composite for rubber/engineering plastic(ENPLA)/ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC)

Misung Polymer Inc. will participate in the 27th International Plastics + Rubber Show (KOPLAS 2023), which will be held from March 14 (Tue) to 18 (Sat), 2023. This exhibition will be our second participation following the 26th International Plastics + Rubber Show (KOPLAS 2021). Since we received lots of interests and responses from many visitors at the time, it motivated us to decide participating this exhibition again. 

 

Misung Polymer Inc. plans to introduce chopped fibers for material reinforcement that can be applied to various materials such as rubber, plastic, concrete and etc. This exhibition will be a good opportunity for our potential clients to see the products on site and to get consultation about various chopped fibers we provide.

Misung Polymer Inc. specializes in special fibers such as aramid, carbon fiber, and lyocell, and produces excellent chopped fibers specialized for each material through dipping and heat treatment using various resins.

Chop fiber products are largely divided into three groups: rubber, engineering plastic (ENPLA), and ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC).

Chop fiber for rubber uses yarns such as p-Aramid, PVA, and PET, and is processed into a form that has good adhesion to rubber and good dispersion during mixing. It is mainly surface-treated with RFL-based resin and produced in lengths of about 1 to 6 mm. In the case of chop fibers for engineering plastics, various materials such as Aramid, Lyocell, PET, and PP are used, and they are dipped/heat-treated with a resin suitable for the applied base polymer and produced in lengths of about 3 to 6 mm. Chop fibers for ultra-high-performance concrete are produced in lengths of about 8 to 30 mm, from generally used steel fibers up to hybrid chop fibers developed with Misung Polymer's own technology.
