In the latest model "SEEV-A" series released in 2016, Sumitomo Heavy Industries has further improved performance and energy saving efforts and we have been able to reduce energy consumption by about 80% compared with hydraulic injection molding machines.
On taking over Demag Plastics Group, and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag was established in 2008. The global development and production network of Sumitomo Heavy Industries and Sumitomo (SHI) Demag consists of four plants in Japan, Germany and China with more than 3,000 employees, and with more than 5,000 machines sold each year.
